Are you Up 4 I.T.?
Here CTDU's students share their personal experiences. In their own words, the stories relate how they got involved with CTDU, what they've learned or gained from getting connected with CTDU and why they think other people could benefit from being more active in their communities. We hope these stories will inspire people all over the world to join in community activities, volunteer, get connected with other people, break down barriers, and help to build community spirit. CTDU students would love to hear from other people active in their communities locally, nationally and globally - the world is one big community, and the Internet and email is making it easier for us all to connect. 	Carol's story Last year I took part in doing the lovely garden and the mosaic, and helped to make the banner about mental health issues and my teacher said I could do a project for my school work about that instead of about the war, because I’d done that before. (click to read more . .)
	Colin I like coming to CTDU because we have freedom of speech and I enjoy studying about global issues. CTDU has given me more confidence to meet people from other organisations and who I would like to keep in contact with.
	Davy I like coming to CTDU because you meet people from different places, and it's given me more confidence to help people who have difficulties outwith CTDU.

	Margaret Everyone is encouraged to participate. If a person doesn’t feel up to participating, that’s okay as well because sometimes if takes a lot for that person just to be there. (click to read more ...)
	Nigel For me, I think that CTDU’s great because there are all sorts of different people there and we explore and do lots of different things together. CTDU has a very open and friendly way of working – everyone there really is non-judgemental. (click to read more ..)
